LEAH-CHAN @ 6:07 AM
Hey,
It's...*looks at clock* 6.08am that I'm starting this post. Way too early right? Well, I've got another oh-say-about 20 minutes before I have to leave for school (I know what you're thinking: 'WTF? That's too early and classes start at 8am!') so I decided to put up a post. Yes, it IS kinda early. To those who live near NYP, lucky asses...no need to wake up so bloody early. I, UNFORTUNATELY, live an hour and a half away from NYP *pouts*.
With Drowning Pool's 'Let The Bodies Hit The Floor' coming out from my computer's speakers, I shall begin! *grins*
Yesterday, as we all know, was Mother's Day. You know how we all usually take pride in the fact that some of us thought of, bought and wrapped our mothers' presents early? To beat the late rush? Yeah, I did one-third of those things. *song changes to 3 Doors Down's Kyrptonite (<-- yeah, I have nothing better to do than to write down what I'm listening to hehe)*
I had thought of getting my mum a tattoo because she wanted to! ^.^ I can just see the 'WTF?' and 'WTH?' going through your minds now. Hahaz! Yes, my own MOTHER wanted to get a tattoo of mine and my brother's name at the small of her back. After reading the article in Seventeen (I think) about the girl who got a tattoo and now it left her badly scarred, I decided not to because the tattoo parlour I wanted to bring my mum too -- I wasn't sure if it was a professional one (no offense to the tattoo artist).
SO, on Saturday night, Izyani and I decided to meet at 4.30pm (which ended with us meeting at 5-5.30pm) to go shop for our mums' presents. We met up, went to eat (because both of us missed lunch) and were raring to go at 6.30pm. Yeah, it took us close to 1-1 and a half hour to eat. We chatted okay? ALOT of things have been happening to both of us.
We traveled around Tampines Mall and Century Square (two times for Century Square), getting side-tracked at Comics Connections (DUH!), Poh Kim, etc. *grins sheepishly* hehe!
FINALLY stopping at Cards 'n' Such, Izyani chose a nice stuffed bear for her mother (which I thought was rather cute. *looks up at previous post* I know, such weird words coming from such a violent girl -- WHAT? I AM a girl y'know). It took me a longer time to get something -- because I had to get for my mother, grandmother AND aunt -- the three women who act like a mother to me (with one ACTUALLY BEING my mother).
After much deliberation (okay, it was more like:
Izyani: "Hurry up, Leandra! Pick something!"
Me: "Wait!" *eyes surveying and getting side-tracked with things that I like*
hehe), I picked a very nice and LARGE mug with the words 'A Garden of LOVE Grows in a Grandmother's Heart.' written on it for my grandmother (DUH!), a handphone strap with 'LINDA' printed on it and a 'LINDA' scented candle for my aunt and a porcelain figurine of a red rose in a vase, with the flower itself in red and leaves in green, for my mother.
When paying for it (reluctantly T.T), the cash register read: '$19.90'. My heart soared at the cheap price but sank when the rational side of me argued that it couldn't be. The cashier re-scanned the things and it came up higher (I won't tell 'cause my family members might see). I paid and Izyani and I went to the florist where we each got a pink, red and white rose. She gave all three roses to her mother while I separated them -- pink for my grandmother, red for my mother and white for my aunt.
*looks at time and eyes widened* OOPS! I gotta go! I'll see ya soon!
Ja ne,
Leandra

I love music. It is my whole life. I can't survive with it.
I hope to be able to play the drums or guitar (electric) [that's once i have enough money to buy one].
I'm currently into Japanese music, and I love mixing their fashion with my own taste! ^_^
My new love is dancing, alongside singing, acting, writing romance fiction and creating fashion styles.
It allows me to express myself when I can't.
It relieves me from my stress.
Overall, I love dancing - I just need to get a confidence for it.
Hanging out with friends is another plus in my life. Friends, to me, equals to loyalty and honesty.
