LEAH-CHAN @ 4:27 PM
Hey people,
The whole happiness of Les Voix haven't faded but in some blogs, it has blown over and in others, it hasn't even been blogged O.O Lolz But either way, I'm not gonna be blogging about Les Voix today. But instead, of something that I found out from Kenny.
These words perked my interest: 2 words FUCK THEM _l_
Wow, this was also accompanied by the sign too! Sure, these words are used in the everyday lives of those vulgar teens. But coming from Kenny himself was very surprising!
With those words was a link to a website. Getting curious, I decided to go to the link.
This was what I found:
BRITS IN SINGAPORE MOCK AGED RICKSHAW DRIVER AND SPARK ANGER OVER YOUTUBE CLIP
Three British tourists who mocked a 76-year-old rickshaw driver because he couldn't pedal fast enough for them - then posted a video of the struggling and panting old man on YouTube - have caused uproar in Singapore.
The trio also ran off without paying the £5 fare he requested and escaped in a taxi yelling expletives which were heard on YouTube as they filmed themselves leaving the scene at Clarke Quay, popular nightspot.
...
£5: about S$15
Expletives: "bad language" or profanities
Honestly, I'm shocked at what has happened. I honestly didn't know about this (yes, I have been living under a rock at the moment - stuck inside this 'wonderous' fantasy world lolz).
I have a couple of British friends, namely Cassy - who's living in Singapore at the moment and is a wonderful gal - and Miki - who's in London and like Cassy, kicks ass! They aren't rude nor will they mock anyone except for those who have irritated them - but even then, they aren't as rude as many people that I hhave seen around. In fact, so far my friends have heped me in all my annoying times. (Do not deny - my whining is being irritating, isn't it? Lolz)
But then again, the comments posted to this article doesn't show that they are rude. For example:
"I am lucky enough to have lived in Singapore and visit when I can...I have always been treated graciously and welcomed as a visitor. I am sorry that Singaporeans have had to witness a bunch of idiots, from the UK...It's a shame the local police didn't get hold of them, no soft policing there!" - Linda, UK
"I have worked in Singapore twice and can only apologise for this moron loutish behavious by absolute brain dead individuals.
This a prime example of everything that is wrong with Britain. Selfish, uncaring and he who shouts loudest wins not to mention the bully syndrome. If the situation was reversed the individuals involved would be crying for compensation for hurt feelings, race discrimination and Elf and Safety for being told to go faster. I am fast becoming ashamed to consider myself British." - Peter Working In China, Skelton in Cleveland, UK
and my most favourite:
"These blokes should be ashames of themselve. What goes around comes around. Wait till they are in their 70s." - Bjorn, SouthHampton, UK
It's good to know how concern everyone is being and how sorry the British is for a couple of their people are.
To Britain, thanks for apologising. I hope nothing comes of this. War is the last thing we need after everything that has happen.
To Singapore, do not judge them as a whole of what a couple of them have done. Those guys should receive punishment for THEIR own actions. Still maintain the peace. ^.^
I know this doesn't sound like "me" but I can't put in out in any other words.

I love music. It is my whole life. I can't survive with it.
I hope to be able to play the drums or guitar (electric) [that's once i have enough money to buy one].
I'm currently into Japanese music, and I love mixing their fashion with my own taste! ^_^
My new love is dancing, alongside singing, acting, writing romance fiction and creating fashion styles.
It allows me to express myself when I can't.
It relieves me from my stress.
Overall, I love dancing - I just need to get a confidence for it.
Hanging out with friends is another plus in my life. Friends, to me, equals to loyalty and honesty.
